"It was... It was February 2nd, 2059," Edward spoke. His lips trembled in the memory of the horrible thought.
"February 2nd, 2059. We were running home from Alaska. We had left Forks in 2009 so we could start over our high school life in Alaska where we knew many people. As we ran back... There was a stray vampire... She felt Bella was a threat. She attacked her and ripped her to shreds. She grabbed ever piece of her and ran off."
He looked longingly out the window.
"She was too fast. When we got to her Bella's remains were just ashes. 'I love you too much for you to be with her,' the girl told me. Tweek, I believe her name was. I was telling her to kill me, but she wouldn't. If it weren't for Emmett and Jasper I think I would be dead, too."
Isabella Cullen is now gone. Edward is devastated and doesn't believe he could go on much longer. Can he find a new love before his lost love pain causes him to give his life up?
